Thank you for visiting my website! I hope your insatiable curiosity about the Atlassian ecosystem has led you here. Let me guide you through the world of Atlassian products, Marketplace extensions, events, and community.

Below you can read some facts about me. I hope my experience will encourage you to read my short posts which built Atlassian Glossary (known on LinkedIn as #atlassianglossarybykate).

How many years have I been using Atlassian products?

I met Jira for the first time in 2016. I used it as a regular user, and the "Create" and "Log work" buttons were sufficient for me. A year later, I started my career in a Marketplace vendor company. There, I started my relationship with Jira, which turned into a long-term friendship. I have gained experience from the points of view of the administrator and advanced user. Now I feel like an expert in Atlassian products, running my own business with friends.

What do I do professionally?

Writing articles and building the k8t.io brand is my private passion. I can fulfill myself here in research and creating unique content. It is a place to release the dormant creativity in me. Daily, I invest my time and energy in developing of Appsvio, working as the Chief Product Officer. I am the proud co-founder of this Marketplace vendor. I treat it like my own child, and it brings tears to my eyes (of joy, of course!) when I see how this company changes and grows every day.

What is my greatest inspiration?

Although I consider myself rather an introvert, I am inspired to act by people around me. I like to listen to them, observe them and learn from their knowledge and experience. They are my driving force. This is probably why being active in the community and participating in various initiatives or events gives me so much joy. It's the same with books that are a mine of knowledge and ideas for me.

What product holds a special place in my heart?

Although I am fascinated by how Atlassian products develop and new ones are created, only one has stolen my heart: Jira Service Management. It may because it is a product mainly about people, services, and customer service. In this case, the (customer) experience comes first, followed by tasks or deadlines.

How do I contribute to the ecosystem?

I have actively participated in the community since my first logins to Jira. I publish posts, answer questions, and engage in various integration activities. In September 2022, I became the Atlassian Community Leader, which gave me a huge kick to action. The result of this is, among others, this blog.

How can you reach me?

Write me a message on LinkedIn or send an email to hello@k8t.io. I will happily exchange experience with you in Atlassian products, product management, or team management. Also, if you have an idea for an article topic, share it with me. Or maybe you already have an article ready and would like to publish it as a guest post? Great, let's talk about it! I'm open to cooperation, so don't hesitate to contact me 🙂
